Late though lingered the snow,
That the sap stirred not at the whisper
Of the south wind, sweet and low;
Never yet was a springtime
When the buds forgot to blow.
That the sap stirred not at the whisper
Of the south wind, sweet and low;
Never yet was a springtime
When the buds forgot to blow.
Ever the wings of the summer'
Are folded under the mold;
Life that has known no dying,
Is Love's, to have and to hold,
Till, sudden, the burgeoning Easter!
The song! the green and the gold!
Are folded under the mold;
Life that has known no dying,
Is Love's, to have and to hold,
Till, sudden, the burgeoning Easter!
The song! the green and the gold!

To be honest here, I've never been into herbal living. Don't get me wrong. I am all for taking vitamins, but I truly believe in medicine when one is extremely sick with a disease. Real medicine for real sicknesses. Home remedies for the minor stuff. Having said all that, I also believe in taking care of our bodies and avoiding everything that is unnatural.
As a child, I have heard of many home remedies that were passed on from one generation to the next. A potato is good for burns. Parsley for digestion. Eat plenty of onions when you're pregnant to produce milk. And so on and so on.
Whenever I have a minor cut, ache, swelling or rash, the first thing I do is google for home remedies. As long as it doesn't require immediate medical attention or infection. We do have to be smart,too. Being smart means knowing when to google and when to make a doctor appointment.
I think, we as a society, want a fast remedy or cure. We don't want to wait for anything. We are an instant driven society. Lose 20 lbs. in one week! Get rid of dark circles within seconds! You can make 3000.00 dollars in one week! Healing takes time. Losing weight takes time. Becoming a millionaire takes time.
You want to take better care of yourself the natural way? Drink herbal tea. Stop using harsh chemicals on yourself and your household items. Take your vitamins, eat healthy and become more active. Don't forget about your spiritual life as well. Every part of our life has to work well so we can live well.
Have a Blessed day everyone.
