Everyday is a brand new day,
everyday is a journey.
Passage, immediate passage!
the blood burns in my veins!
Away, O soul! hoist instantly the anchor!
Out the hawser--haul out--shake out every sail!
Have we not stood here like trees in the ground long enough?
Have we not groveled here long enough eating
and drinking like mere brutes?
Have we not darkened and dazed ourselves
with books long enough?
Sail forth--steer for the deep waters only,
Reckless, O soul, exploring, I with thee, and thou with me,
For we are bound where mariner has not dared to go,
And we will risk the ship, ourselves and all.

Being grateful during a time such as this is something I have to constantly remind myself to do. To avoid that envy monster, there are times I have to turn off social media. It's just not my time, but theirs.
I came across this lovely chart. Not exactly sure where or from whom, but I love what it represents. So many ways to show our gratitude for what we have and for what others do for us. Whenever I find myself growing dim in attitude, I look to the chart. Sometimes, we need to take pen to paper and acknowledge all the good in our life by writing it down. I hope you can try some of these great ideas.
Have a blessed day everyone.
