Everyday is a brand new day,
everyday is a journey.
Life is made stronger
Giving, receiving;
Love is made longer
Hoping, believing.
everyday is a journey.
Life is made stronger
Giving, receiving;
Love is made longer
Hoping, believing.
Life is made sweeter,
Truly worth living;
Love is completer,
Trusting, forgiving

What do Pastors love to say about waiting on God's answer? Oh yes, it's no, yes or not now. I think the "not now" is the hardest to deal with, because it involves waiting and sometimes, it can be very long. The yes or no are better, even though it may be hard to accept if it's not what we like. At least, it's an answer. That not now, can be a real pain.
We are not a waiting type of people. We admire the people in the Bible, but we don't want to wait like they did. Look at Moses or David or Joseph. All the years they waited. Lord, let it not be us that has to wait like they did. Forty years? Twenty years? Fifteen years? Oh no, not for me.
Another thing that gets me is the answers people give whenever we seek advice or solace in the waiting.
Well, you must have some sin in your life.
Well, you must have displeased God in some way.
Well, you must get your life right first.
Well, it's God time not yours.
Well, God knows what He's doing.
Well, you need to fast.
It's all true, of course, but it's the last thing we want to hear. We want comfort at the moment, the courage and strength to keep moving. So this is where I'm at right now. I'm in the waiting room of the Yes, No and Not Now world. It's not easy, but I'm trying to stay faithful and filled with the promise.
Have a blessed day everyone.
